EL EN This project is about the conversion of a ground floor space into an open plan studio apartment with industrial style. The plan is arranged on three levels, at which the basic functions of the residence are located: the living room and the office at the main entrance, the kitchen on one side close to the yard, and the bedroom - the private zone - on the other. Partitions made of steel and sandblast glass were designed to act as internal windows among the spaces, which allow for natural light penetration and privacy. Materials such as iron, wood, red brick, and mortar were selected to enhance the industrial tone, aside with minimal furnishing with strong and clean lines. status: under construction area: 193 m² location: Thrakomakedones - Attica team: μ. architects year: 2014 -
